Ann Sheridan

Specialized Tutoring Staff

Ann Sheridan joins DaVinci with 25 years of teaching experience from the Lindenhurst School District. She worked as a reading specialist and English teacher, primarily in the middle school. She holds NYS certifications in Reading, Special Education, and secondary English. She brings with her a passion for learning and literacy, and a passion to help students of all ages develop their literacy skills to go on to become lifelong learners.

In her spare time, Ann enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.

Specialized Tutoring Staff

Anna Wern joined the Da Vinci team in January as a great addition to our specialized tutoring staff. Anna attended Suffolk Community College where she received her associate’s degree in deaf studies. She continued at Suny Old Westbury College and received her bachelor’s degree in special education. Anna is pursuing a master’s degree in deaf education. She has trained in a variety of specialized reading programs by our master teachers at Da Vinci. Anna specializes in American Sign Language and is actively involved in the deaf community. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and planning her next vacation!

Andrea Camera

Specialized Tutoring Staff

Andrea joins Da Vinci as a NYS Certified teacher with 34 years of experience in the East Islip School District.  Her master’s in special education coupled with her experience as a resource room and integrated teacher allows her to seamlessly connect with her students.  Her passion for classroom teaching and as a tutor resonates with her students and by working together, they will achieve success in content and study strategies.

Andrea enjoys fitness training, baking and spending time with her family, friends and two dogs.

Amanda Luisi

Specialized Tutoring Staff

Amanda joins DaVinci as a NYS Certified teacher. She has five years of teaching experience and has worked privately with students as a one-on-one tutor. Amanda has a master’s degree in Literacy and Cognition. Her passion for teaching comes from building relationships with her students to help them improve their learning and development. Amanda takes her students’ experiences to differentiate instruction based on her students’ needs which allows for higher levels of student achievement and growth.

In Amanda’s free time, she enjoys running, baking, traveling, and spending time with her son, Mason, and family and friends.
