Description
Children with attachment disorders often exhibit symptoms especially in school, that resemble ADHD. When a child is misdiagnosed with ADHD, the treatment and behavioral strategies often exacerbate the symptoms. Raising awareness of the similarities in symptoms of RAD and ADHD, can help ensure correct diagnosis and treatment.
In this course with Lorna Bosak, LCSW-R, you will learn about the overlap in symptoms of ADHD and Attachment Disorder and will learn how to distinguish the difference between the two diagnoses. Participants will learn how to avoid misdiagnosing and will learn effective ways to manage each of these diagnoses in the school, home and in therapy.
