Switch-Adapted Toy Hackathon

Our Switch-Adapted Toy Hackathon, in collaboration with Makers Making Change: NYC Chapter, is an event that gives individuals and families the opportunity to learn about adapting toys for different user and practice new skills, such as soldering.

Please bring your own electronic toy or $10 for a toy/materials, and be ready to learn! Please use this document to help choose a toy to bring with you and this resource to learn more about the toy adaptation process. Adapted toys at the end of the event can be brought home for a family member that would benefit from it or donated for distribution.
